Somebody recommend me a good garden hose..

Sounds stupid, doesn't it? I finally start getting the courtyard blooming and the front yard grass growing (Live Oak Tree smack dab in the middle) so I've been watering quite a bit.. I bought a really good 50' hose two weeks and that BLEW UP right where it screws onto the pressure gun.. So, thinking I got a dud, I bought another of the same kind yesterday - and it just blew up in the same manner a few minutes ago.. it lasted a couple of hours over one day..

So, looking up hoses, apparently they ALL either blow up or have crappy fittings that wear out or fuse to the faucet and gun.. when I was a kid my parents bought ONE hose that lasted my entire childhood.. Now I can't even get one to last the weekend - at $40 a pop for 50 foot.. So, all ears here - tired of this crap.. Here's a pic of both hoses blown up at the same exact spot..
