One sad graduation....

May 15, 2020 09:03PM
Being retired, and pretty much at home most of the time anyway... I 'knew' what this quarantine was, what it meant, but I don't think it was until tonight it slapped me upside the head.

Watching my grandson and his friends, most all of them I've known since they were born.. having to forego a proper graduation, a party, recognition.... not that the High School didn't do what they could, they did... but what a miserable situation.

The kids will recover, easily I think.. they are resilient that way. No doubt it was harder on parents, grandparents, teachers, all those who have come to love them thru the years. But knowing that sure doesn't lessen the anger much. I hate this damn virus. - JamesJM
