Re: You know what's weird?

We are really missing baseball. Baseball is huge in these parts and it's weird not seeing the St Louis Cardinals play every day or hearing baseball talk during the sports segment of the nightly news. Baseball is what helps us endure the NFL off-season every year. On top of that, a lot of our favorite shows are reaching their series end but prematurely due to COVID-19 . Original endings have been scrapped because they couldn't complete the post-productions so fans of the shows are being short-changed somewhat. It can't be helped. Our spring and summer tv viewing looks like it's going to consist of re-runs. We don't really go out to eat/drink anymore so not being able to dine out isn't a big miss for us. I think my grandson is really missing pre-school, though His mom usually takes him someplace fun on the weekends but can't do that now. He can't even go to any playgrounds to play.

Even when things get back to normal... things will never be "normal" again, not in the way it was before the pandemic. That's my opinion. Thousands of businesses won't come back from the quarantine and many that do just won't make it. This is going to effect just about every aspect of our lives in some way going forward, I think. Some of it will be good. Some of it will just be... necessary. We are listening to what the scientists and public health experts have to say. Not the politicians.
