Like the first Unbroken, we saw that in the theater. The second Unbroken movie does a GREAT job of picking up from the first movie. I have never been much of a reader but "Unbroken" was hard to put down once I started. I read that about 6 years ago. Louis Zamperini's story is amazing! In the second movie, Merritt Patterson does a GREAT job as Louis' Wife, Cynthia Applewhite. Patterson is a CUTIE who my Wife and I have seen in several Hallmark flicks.
When I went to L.A. with my boys for the Saints game, we passed the Torrance exit when on our way to Long Beach to see the USS Iowa. Between that and the track and field history of the old Coliseum, I thought of Zamperini a few times. He was also a BIG USC guy.
