THUS... they knocked her out. With Fentanyl? Not sure how to spell that... and I don't really know what it is... I only know it can kill you... I think they must have a way to keep you from dying...

BUT...

I do know the effects. Her daughter, my granddaughter, just FaceTimed her, (video chat), and she's feeling good... really very very good. Like, amazingly good... like visions of angels and puffy silver-lined clouds and lollipops growing on the sides of roads and unicorns prancing in pastures.

Now I seriously hope you're not thinking of asking me if she's driving. Tell me you weren't thinking that a possibility, please.

So we're now preparing for her arrival. No movie tonight, no board games, perhaps some wine. We're arranging chairs to face the sofa where my daughter will lie when she arrives... and we're expecting a Barnum & Bailey level of entertainment. - JamesJM
