I switch to appendix carry a few years ago mainly for comfort while sitting/driving and easy access when in the car. There are quite a few options for appendix carry. This is the one I chose, for what it is worth. I carry an M&P Shield frequently. Originally purchased as a .40 but I bough a 9mm conversion barrel and a few 9mm mags.

Keepers Errand

Sometimes I just keep in the console. Not really great options to have it easily available while not being visible. Especially if you intend to take it with you when you leave the car. Which means you need to put it back on. This is why I go with appendix carry. Easy on and off even when sitting.
