I used to use iMovie..

before I got After Effects and Premier at work, then version on the Mac at home.. I've also used the gopro movie app, which actually has its moments, but is a PITA to use layers with.. holy crap..

After Effects is my baby, tho.. Never had Final Cut Pro.. After Effects is very similar to Flash in how its setup, and I'm a Flash ninja, so After Effects just came easy to me.. Speaking of which, I have about 200 cave diving videos from November, diving with a dive master who was literally one of Bond's girls... crazy.... I can't believe I haven't edited any of that yet..
