..is just leave it up all year.. saves a lot of work..! Actually our "main" tree is a 9 foot palm tree in our living room that I decorate up with lights and red balls etc.. My wife has a "peace" tree she puts up in another room - all the decorations are peace symbols and related peace stuff, and a "tropical" tree that only has tropical Christmas decorations on it that we find on our trips.. Of course, the dogs always wanna tear both up..
