Actually these WERE "hippies of yesteryear". Believe me I know people from the 60s and all these invitees including the bride and groom were there and lived it. They"re older now but "hippies" at heart and foundation-although I doubt anyone burned any flags. But yes-we were all involved in lots of protests. Woodstock, Arlo Guthrie, Pete Seeger-best music ever-so much activism. Protest songs were like bread and butter to me. Here's one performed later but one of my favorites.
