I've been on the surface, BC inflated, kicking with dive fins and stroking as hard as I could and couldn't catch the boat - which was going the same direction in the current that I was.. I couldn't even get closer to it.. That's a frustrating situation that you can absolutely wear yourself out over and never even make up ground..
