as far as my grandson.. worst day at the plate ever. 
He did get on via an error with a hard ground ball that got by 3rd base - , scoring 2 runs and putting us ahead in the top of the last inning BUT.. they tied us in the bottom of the inning and then beat us in the 10th inning. (HS is only 7 innings).
The Thesis Reading - Yes, I was on my best behavior, and I think I looked the part... dressed accordingly anyway... but... writers are smart people and I think they saw thru my disguise.
