First time for me... other than simply removing the barrel, the slide, the bolt... to clean. This time... the works... trigger... everything.
Did I get lost? Yes... I did. Youtube is a wonderful thing.
Going to my ranch to do a little hunting soon... and it will be nostalgic.... I'll be using my Dad's Remington Model 1100 Semi .12 and my grandson will be using the .12 870 purchased, I believe, in 1950, the year it came out... and to this day the gold standard for shotguns.
Quail hunt... to get ready for an exotic meal I'm preparing for this coming July when my son and his family come home from England. On the menu so far: Moose, Elk, Oryx, Deer, Salmon, Prairie Chicken, Quail.... so far, and all but the Salmon and quail already stocked in the freezer waiting.
Since wild pigs have returned to my ranch we may add some pork.
The Limoncello I'm making is the desert.
