great documentary on HBO......I highly recommend. Interesting, only 2 members of the band died in the plane crash. I always thought it was more. They switched out the guitarist in 1977, and he was killed, and of course Ronnie Van Zandt. A back up singer, the sister, of the guitarist was killed.
Interesting that several of the band members died, I believe 3 or 4, died within 5 -20 years after that.
Really, sad. Great documentary and a great band. I saw them a few times and they were exceptional.
