Rain in central Calif.

Yup... you read that right, it's raining today... well, off and on it's raining. Now for most of you rain means depression, sad faces. Not here. Here rain means jubilation, frolicking under the rain drops, we do not close schools to celebrate HOWEVER... you can definitely get away with more nonsense on rainy days.
In Oct. we average .67 inches of rain for the month. Or at least that's what the average is in Fresno... out where I am who knows?
Tradition: Kids get out of school at about 3, will be home at 3:15... by 3:16 they'll be soaking wet, covered in mud.. and they will have to strip down to their underwear before coming the house and going directly to the shower. - JamesJM
