Right now I'm just trying to 'visualize' it and I think it's something that you'd have to see experimented with to really know.

Two or three WC's ago I was fiercely opposed to penalty kicks to decide a match... today, eh. I still don't like it but it does send one's heart pumping... as we saw several times this WC. But I readily admit I have no fix in mind. It's such a low scoring game that I don't know if you could fix it even if they wanted to. And note: I'm not opposed to low scoring games, (inherently low scoring games), per se... it actually makes scoring a LOT more exciting; it just lends itself to more 'odd' victories and I would say 'unearned' victories.
What did you think of the 'widen' the goals suggestion?
