I've talked to Carl Gottlieb (wrote the screen play and played "Meadows" the newspaper guy in the movie) briefly a couple of times on facebook.. Several of the stand out characters, like Susan Backlini, who played Chrissie, the first victim, and Richard Dreyfuss, who played Hooper, do a lot of autograph signings, but I just am never in the right place at the right time.. I've read many accounts of people going to - damn, I almost said "Amity" - Martha's Vineyard and meeting a ton of the secondary characters like Alex Kintner (raft victim) and Lee Fiero (Kintner's mom who slapped Brody) and Hendricks (Deputy) and the guitar guy at the first and on and on and on.. I read that everybody who met Lee Fiero wanted to be slapped by her and she finally had to put her foot down and say no more lol
