So, if I'm following correctly, the lead guitarist was extending his leads? Ya know, that's something I've never done cuz we've always stuck to the structure of whatever song we're doing and have never improvised live.. well, unless somebody train wrecks and we hafta improv our way out of it lol

Anyways, glad the show went well, but sounds like you need to keep that hi hat arm in better shape.. But kudos for adapting on the fly and making the most of it.. Glad the paradiddling practice paid off.. I'm wondering if switching to a responsive snare after being used to dead magazines etc helped speed you up - along with the outright practicing.. Since you brought it up, you DO know now that I'm doing paradiddles with my feet while I'm sitting at my computer desk? Much slower than you, I'm sure

Anyways, good to hear.. we, as you know, cancelled Valentine's Day - I just wasn't physically up to it.. After surgery I dunno if I ever will be.. We're scheduled for Halloween, again, but as it stands, I'm kind of dreading it.. Too much work for me.. at my age, anyway..
