and I'm not sure it does... but I remember it seemed to me that some time back they would cut back and forth during the live events missing very little.... or what they did miss they showed in replay but only by a minute or so. As the competition heated up, in each individual event, they would give a bit more air time to the most dramatic events occurring. That's how I remember it.... and preferred it. - JamesJM
