The obvious scapegoat is Darvish, and deservedly so. He seemed scared and didn't perform in the exact games that the Dodgers picked him up to perform in. The 2 worst starts of his career have came in the world series games, which I don't think is a coincidence. Just terrible.
I think the bigger reason that the Dodgers lost the series, was the offense though. Seager, JT, Bellinger, and Puig all just didn't hit for most all of the series. Hard to win a series when the 4 horses in the middle of your lineup just don't hit.
Throw in weird streaks being broken, like Jansen giving up the HR in the 9th to blow the save in game 2 and Kershaw blowing a big lead in game 5, neither of which has happened almost ever.
Other than Roberts pulling Hill after 4 innings in game 2, when he was due up 2nd in the the bottom of the fifth, I don't have much of a problem with his managing. Sure there were some questionable decisions, but many of them worked and a few didn't.
What a great post season for Joc, Kiki, and Taylor. And Morrow was amazing!! All great stories...
Pretty depressing losing game 7, definitely going to take some time to get over.
