Helen is in the NE hill area of Georgia. We go up I-75 through Atlanta to get there. JUST South of Atlanta is the town on Flippen. SO, we tell our friends that we like to go through FLIPPEN Georgia only to go through Helen Georgia.
At a young age my youngest daughter used to say that as we drove past that exit...she thought she was being sly...it was funny.
I live about 11 miles of I-75....exit 145, Warner Robins Ga. So y'all sailed right on by.
