That's nothing new. The difference is now there is so much MORE player movement and so much money involved. Role players that round out a roster can get bigger money to go to a so called super team that's true but for the most part players go where they get the most money. The notion that super teams are new is wrong though.

And lets face it they don't always win it all.

Miami went 4 times but only won twice and could have walked away with just 1 title because the Spurs series was close, it came down to the last minute of Game 7. If it weren't for LeBron having a lights out game the Spurs win that series.

The Warriors may well have just one title in the last 3 years instead of two because remember they were down 2-1 against the Cavs who were playing WITHOUT Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. That was a lucky break for the Warriors because if Love and Irving play that series goes to the Cavs.

Being a so called super team isn't a guarantee you still have to play the games. And the two teams standing in the end actually drafted most of their talent.

If you think this years contracts were crazy wait until 2018. The cap is jumping up another 18MIL after this year! Team will have 102MIL to spend and they are required to spend 85%. 11 guys on a roster means there will be some YUGE deals handed out for average players. Every team in the NBA can be the Yankees.

EDIT:

I looked at the last 10 years in the NBA. 11 teams have been to the Finals.
