which is the furthest from earth man made object. Perhaps the best way to depict the distance is by the time it takes for a signal from Voyager to reach earth... as of today it's 38:19:42. IOW... a day and a half.

Now comes a very long wait. Still 'technically' within the bounds of our solar system Voyager is only just beginning it's trip... it will be 40,000 years before Voyager reaches another star system. To put that into perspective... the Goff/Wentz debate will be almost dead and according to Vegas I will have won an argument with my wife.

Our stuff on the Moon and Mars - one day they will erect monuments at their locations. People will take selfie's standing in front of them. - JamesJM
