If you come from a swimming family you can easily prefer watching the races in the water. I know I do. Same with my friends who actually played water polo at USC -they are fine tuned into the entire water polo matches-even those not involving the USA because they have actually played against some of the Euro guys. They are glued to matches and will easily choose them over the track and field stuff. My son's daughter is on a local race team and all she wants to do is watch the swimming events. She could care less about Bolt and likely never heard of him.
