I was toying around on Youtube and found a video of a fella who felt compelled to visit the site of the Murders of three young boys in West Memphis, RIGHT off I-40. It was very erie because they were killed right next to where The Blue Beacon Truck Wash place was. EVERY time I'd go to and from Memphis from Blytheville, I remember seeing that location. The murders took place in May 1993. Three Teens were arrested. One ALMOST got sent to Death Row but later evidence cleared them. The Killer is STILL out there somewhere. The guy doing the video even took the time to find the graves of the boys and place a Hot Wheel on each one. One of the boys is buried up in Steele Missouri. That's VERY close to where I was stationed. The fella spent hours trying to find the grave in Steele but could not find it. He was really bummed. But 2-3 years later, he made it back and actually found it. It was THEN he posted his video. What happened to those boys was VERY brutal. Made me think of when I was 8 years old and me and MY Buds finding such places on our bikes. Like the guy who did the video, I felt a sense of heartbreak for those boys.
