We have 3 rooms that our cats are not allowed to enter. Where they do roam no mice... but where they can't enter... wellllll, this time of year it's bad for mice. My home is in a field so they love the comforts of heat, crumbs on the floor, and making my wife scream and leap on tables.
They now sell many 'humane' types of mouse traps. Made so that you can catch and release mice. That's nice. Very humane. Problem is - I can't bring myself to give a flying @#$# about mice. Flaw in my character? yeah, I suppose so. But if I'm honest - I don't grieve over a slain mouse.
Caught one last night, or I should say executed one... he came to a very quick demise in my inhumane mouse trap. Which to me is 'humane' as far as a mouse.
And I know you're wondering so I'll add to this post that yes, sure, absolutely, I walked up near my wife with a dangling mouse just to witness her reaction. That's a cruel and inhumane thing to do... I know... but her reaction is so entertaining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - JamesJM
