My son-in-law is still home recovering from his surgery so we took advantage of no one being home except us and rented a movie. Without anyone else here we could actually turn the sound up.
We chose "Nope". We shouldn't have. My standard caveat - you really shouldn't pay attention to my movie reviews because I'm a curmudgeon and most new movies today I reflexively give a thumbs down.
"Nope" was horrible. BUT, we did watch it all... so there's that. All time most use of the "F" word and the "S" word... in fact, that's the only dialog in the movie. Oh maybe a different word or two sneaks in occasionally but you'll have to be on your toes to catch them. VERY odd movie that some might find appealing just because of that fact. Having seen it I can't give away any spoilers because I haven't got a clue what happened in the movie.
After the above I watched "Cleaners"... I like Samuel Jackson, (a lot), so anything he's in appeals to me even though I don't watch all his movies. Interesting 'mystery' that was ok to me, nothing great.... I think it was just 'ok' because before the opening credits had fully scrolled by I knew who the bad guy was. I think you will too, if you watch it. - JamesJM
