Kids with special needs, and football...

at least a couple of times every football season games will begin, (sometimes end), with a very special play.

I'm getting ready to take off for our games with Firebaugh today... and I've just been informed by our president, and a league representative, that the Junior game will begin with a special play for a special young man from Firebaugh... they want to make sure I don't miss it while filming the games today, (as if there was any chance in hell I'd miss it ).

I do not know, they didn't tell me, what this young man's situation is... perhaps mentally challenged, perhaps he's sick. Over the years I've filmed many of these 'special plays' and without fail... they are some of the most exhilarating, fun, happy, moments a person can experience. They NEVER get old.. they never lose their luster.
