Baby Everett

After 26 hours in labor and the doctors realizing there was no way Everett was going to come into the world the traditional way, Kara delivered Everett Taylor via C-section around 5:10 pm on 7/30. The doctors said she could have only handled birthing a 6-7 lb baby and this little guy is a chunk. He weighed 8 lb 10 oz, 20 1/4" long. He is healthy and "all there". Everett looks just like his dad but he has Kara's dimpled chin. Kara is doing well but has to stay in the hospital till Wednesday.

Frank and I stopped by the hospital last night and spent some time with the new family.
