Was a POW...TWICE..in Europe (Luckily, Germans were good about Medical Prisoner exchanges) When I first met her, I asked her if she watched MASH. She LOVED it! Obviously....and she called it out....There were some things like the 1970s haircuts and disrespect towards Officers that she could do without but she got that it was part of the humor. She also said there was a lot about MASH that she related too. My ex Mother In Law said I must have been special because "Aunt Vivian" said a LOT more to me about her time in War than she did long time family members. I think it might have been because I was ex Military and she knew I had a very deep interest in what she had to say.
