I saw them perform once.

Texas Jam 1978, I think.. the very first one.. all mega stars playing the bill: Van Halen, Heart, Aerosmith, Eddie Mo ey, Nazareth etc.... Cheech and Chong came out during each bands setup, or getting their equipment onstage, so the crowd wouldn't get bored... they later stated that it was about 130 degrees in the Cotton Bowl and I literally BEGGED a confession stand worker from behind the stand to sell me a cup of ice water.. the line was an hour long and I was fading fast.. had he not done that for me I would have been OUT with heat exhaustion and dehydration in a matter of 5-10 minutes..
