going to see AMERICA at a local casino....

Always like America.... bass line in the song "Tin Man" is one of my all time favorites. Nothing fancy... just solid and 'grooving'. BUT, that's not why I'm posting this.

I saw them once before at the Big Fresno Fair many, MANY, years ago. That night a local, (from Lemoore), was in town and joined them on stage. None other than the legendary "Steve Perry" of Journey. If you don't know him then I don't know what to tell you.... you know nothing about music.

But to point: Steve joined them onstage to sing a few songs with them. BUT... small problem. Steve was blind drunk. I'm not sure he hit a single note. Guys in America were a little perturbed by that but not really angry, or at least they didn't seem to be. I mean after all... it was Steve Perry!

So anyway... looking forward to seeing America and really hoping Steve Perry doesn't show up.
