We have a very large, VERY well run grocery chain down here called Publix. About 25 years ago, Jacksonville gave them a great tax incentive to build one in a sketchy part of town. That store LOST ITS A$$! Constantly being robbed or dealing with Shoplifters. They had their fill and pulled the plug about 5 years ago. Just last year, a small Mom n Pop Restaurant that had been around for almost 60 years almost had to shut down after 4-5 burglaries in 3-4 months.
