Rewatched The Eiger Sanction....

Thoroughly enjoyed it. And since I've been to both the Totem Pole in Monument Valley and the Eiger in Switzerland I felt a connection. No, not as a climber... the guy drinking beer watching them thru a telescope.

After... I looked up an old Black and White movie on YouTube... they have many. Decided on "Only Angels Wear Wings" starring Cary Grant, Jean Arthur, Rita Hayworth, and several other notables. But before going on... my GOD but Rita was a stunning beauty.

Odd movie...kept thinking every character in the movie was kookie-putz.... but by the end of the movie I liked it. Really poorly made by today's standards BUT... I'm lucky in that regard - I still possess that 'lost art' of setting aside reality.

Then, of course, the movie features a Ford Tri-Motor Airplane... that alone makes me give it a thumbs up.

So - corny, just horrible special effects, you wouldn't like it.
