I had forgotten most of Jaws II I agree with Steve - it was fun but not in the same league as the first one.

As you guys know I'm not a big fan of horror movies. NOTE: This doesn't relate to Jaws - I don't consider Jaws a horror movie, exactly. But since I'm not a big fan of horror flicks there are MANY I have never seen. Some of them classic horror flicks. I think I might make up for that in the next month or so.... BUT....

Not slasher films . I actually dislike every slasher film I've ever seen - which isn't many.

Soooooo, omitting slasher movies what are some of the horror movies you've seen that you consider 'classic' for the genre? Just quickly for reference - I've seen The Exorcist, the first Alien, Psycho, Silence of the @#$%& (but I should rewatch it because I remember little of it), and I somewhat recently saw some 'demon' movie with Anthony Hopkins but I forget the title.

Also... most of the horror films pre-1970 I've seen.
