Anyway.... here at home he had a course laid out where he'd practice and I'd occasionally go up with him. In some of the turns we'd pull 6 G's. Ever hear of a 'gray out'? It's what happens just before you black out. It happened to me.... the first time or two. It's a very odd feeling -
you're aware of what's going on but you cannot respond in any way. Your body shuts down while mentally you're still semi-alert. You can acclimate yourself to it which I did but only somewhat. I did get where I could move but my movement was impaired. - JamesJM
