It REALLY has to be a PITA with zero help. In the case of my Brother, my Step Dad was a big help. Also, my Brother had very little. He was eons behind in his Mortgage , Auto, Insurance and Medical bills. The value of his house was so small, we just let it all go. There was nothing much to save or fight for.
