It is a truth....

synthetic oil doesn't break down like oil does. And it's true that you can go well past 3,000 miles as well. That said I still change it every 3,000, the kicker is at 30-50 miles per week, sometimes up to 70 or so miles I'm only doing a change 1 time a year. So it's not like I'm spending a lot per year on the service....It is @250.00 or so to do it, but over a 12 month period it's like 20 a month....about a1/4 tank of gas.
