And far more technologically advanced than we are, are able to focus on earth and see life first staring form. They'll have to wait another 2.5 billion years to see the launch of Voyager 1 and 2.

of course, I didn't take into consideration the fact that our Milky Way and Andromeda are on a collision course which will speed things up a little.

Earth, our sun, won't be in existence when the big collision takes place. So obviously none of our descendants will get to experience it.... well, except Keith Richards of course. - JamesJM
