Prayers for Baltimore. Bridge collapse looked terrible.

Watching the video, looks like there were several First Responders and or DOT vehicles on it when it went down. It takes me back to 1980 and the Sunshine Skyway in Tampa. I remember that came back to me while at the Divisional Playoff game 2 years ago. I was at the very top of the NE corner and I could see the new bridge in the distance. I worked with a fella on the Fire Dept who was SUPPOSED to be on the Greyhound Bus that fell during that ordeal. He overslept. Just up the road, in Brunswick Georgia, a ship hit the Sydney Lanier Bridge, killing several in early 70s. In the Burt Reynolds flick, The Longest Yard, the bridge that he is on early in the movie, as he eludes the Cops, is the Sydney Lanier. It has been replaced with a VERY tall bridge.

In Baltimore, I hear they have pulled two out of the water so far. Water temperature is a factor.

The more I read about it, I think all of those Beacons were workers. As a Firefighter myself..
