When I farmed I put a lot of miles on my pickups. During planting and harvesting seasons I could easily put 600-800 miles in a day. So leases were out of the question... they're usually based on like... 12,000 miles per year? 15,000 maybe? When I farmed I was never under 50,000 per year. BUT TODAY - -
Just bought a new pickup last July.... looking like I'll be right at about 10,000 miles in my first year... 11,000 at most. I paid cash for it BUT.... I did wonder if a 'lease', considering the low mileage I drive these days, would work? So I don't know....
Since I never once considered a lease... don't live in the city where 5 mile round trips are considered exorbitant.... other than mileage I have no idea what is involved with a lease. - JamesJM
