Movie Maestro

Not an "enjoyable" movie. However, from an existential viewpoint it is not that far removed from "Citizan Kane"-supposedly the greatest movie ever made. While Kane was indirectly about William Randolph Hearst Maestro was directly about the great American composer. If your put off by the latest movies about bi-sexual characters-then don't watch it. However, if your in the least about wonderful cinematography and the display of experimental angles in what the camera is doing-by all means see it.

Bottom line is this is not a Hallmark kind of movie-which is why Barbara did not care for it. But IMO from an artistic point of view it knocked it out of the ball park. 1/2 black and white and 1/2 color.
