In 1993 on PBS there was a 3 hour documentary called a A Fighter Pilot's Story which was a interview with
Quentin Aanenson who had been a P47 Pilot in Europe. After watching it I sent away for the VHS tapes and still have them. Its one of the most riveting interviews I have ever listened to. The guy really described the horror of war and how it changed him.

Unfortunately I've never had any luck finding it on DVD or anywhere online. All I've ever been able to find are some short clips like this one.
