Watched 'RACE' last night....

another movie that somehow had escaped my attention. Came out in 2016, not that old... but I missed it somehow... well, I know how... I didn't watch movies very often in that time span.

I truly liked the movie.... being a Jesse Owens fan and having read quite a bit about him. I even recommend it, (something I rarely do).... but that said, I don't think the movie was very well made, and IMHO didn't sufficiently pay homage to Jesse..... who just may have achieved the single greatest moment in the history of sports. No way do I think the movie 'failed'... just think it could have been much, much better. Won't go into the specifics of where I think the film making lacked..... but:

The movie is a good starter for getting to know Jesse Owens, what he did and what it meant to the world. Sort of a "Jesse Owns 101". This guy is, after all, a true legend. Not sure any sports name in history can be placed higher than his. - JamesJM
