IMHO no one could sing any better than Karen. Probably some as good... but none better. She had one of the purest voices of all time... so pleasing to the ear.
Was out walking earlier and one of her songs came on the radio (internet radio) and when it ended I stopped and had Apple Music play songs by The Carpenters... I was mesmerized. I had not listened to her for some time and although I had NOT forgotten how incredible she was, (that's impossible), I had neglected her. No more... My Karen Carpenter playlist is now up at the top of my playlists... a place of honor, right where it should be. - JamesJM
