My scariest tire related incident was when I was assigned to a Ladder Truck.

August 16, 2023 04:44PM
I was Tilling (Steering the back). We had needed tires for several shifts but the City Tire Shop kept putting it off. Anyway, we were cruising on a drizzly day, on our way to a Commercial Alarm when we hydroplaned. GEEEEEESH!!! We whipped back & forth all over a four lane road. THANK GOD it was Sunday morning because nobody was on the road. Had it been the same time on Monday?? It would have been BAD! My Driver did a HELLUVA job by driving into it. Me?? I think the Tiller seat is still up my butt from the Pucker Factor!! LOLOL We had a Chief behind us. He saw it. He made a phone call and we had a total set of tires (Eight) by lunch time on a Sunday.
