Had an embarrassing moment on Sunday.....

My cousin's daughter, (guess that would make her my 3rd cousin), was cooking up a meal for our family reunion. She was wearing an all green outfit... very bright, impossible to miss. Looked like some type of costume...not regular clothing. I commented on it... "Hey, looking good in Italian Green"...

She thanked me, then asked me, "What about the purple streaks?" Well... I had no idea what in the hell she was talking about... until I looked up.... the front part of her hair she had dyed green then about a third way back on her head she had dyed a couple stripes purple... behind that her normal hair color. I had failed to notice.

She thought I was complimenting her hair but I was actually complimenting her cooking outfit.... so what did I do? Well, I went along with it of course, "Yes, your hair, looks great".
