Well, let me rephrase that... I wasn't actually a surfer. I did surf... I was the worst. What I meant was...
I was into the 'surf' genre of music... LOVED it. That makes me uncool, I know... but neither do I care because it was fantastic!!!
To this day I listen to it often.... surf music I mean. Actually... I think it was the last 'innocent' period of our history. I think it was the last 'non-preachy' era of music. It was meant to be fun... that's it.
Some would call that 'head in the sand'.... to hell with them... they couldn't have fun if fun bit them in the ass.
Today I feel sorry that most of you missed that phenomena.
