Both the Hallmark Channel and GAC (Great American Family) have a Christmas in July thing where they show schmaltzy, sappy, romantic, Christmas-themed movies, The networks are very similar in the content they offer. In fact, a lot of actors who were contracted for years to star in Hallmark movies left Hallmark for GAC. [www.greatamericanfamily.com]
I start watching Hallmark/GAC movies around the end of October and keep watching them clear up until the end of January. Many of them I've seen a couple dozen times but I enjoy them so I continue to watch them over and over.
