On their site they have slots to input the height and width dimensions of all your doors and drawer fronts.. Order them, get them in, paint them, if you want, attach new hinges and door handles (use a $5 jig to mount them in the correct location) and you're good to go.. It would have cost me $2500 for all new cabinets and I got them done for about $500 total..
Yeah, countertop isn't the area to splurge, either.. We have a place on the outside of town that has 3 acres full of granite and marble soap stone remnants etc.. I'm sure you have one, as well.. get them come out, do a measurement/mock up, and the go choose the remnant you want them to install.. WAY cheaper than getting it done by Lowes or anyone else.. I saved a WAD of money doing that, as well..
