It basically removes a lot of sugars that can screw with the gut. There's a lot of things I thought were GREAT but are not allowed....Apples, Broccoli and Asparagus. The hand outs explain it much better than I have time to type but......I'm gonna give it a shot for two weeks. His Nurse said I have to follow it to a T for two weeks. She said it has indeed helped others with my issues.
Doc also set me at ease by saying none of the Labs or scans revealed ANY major threats or dangers. I asked if what is going on could simply be some sort of nerve issue and he said " Certainly!" He went on to say for me to try the diet and see if it helps.
At first.....I was walking out of there grumbling about the papers with a strict diet. Then it hit me....At least it's that and not refferal papers to an Oncologist.
